StorePick Stock Balance on Hand

Overview

This feature belongs to handheld picker’s app, which aids them on their pick-walk to get the desired items and fulfill their orders.

Currently the pickers do not have any visibility on the stock balance of the products that are to be picked and substitute an item they do not find on store shelf though it might be available in some other location.

The feature “Stock balance on hand” allows the pickers in store the see the available stock of a product on the screen of the hand held device when they are on the pick-walk.

  1. SKU Translation Lambda

lmb-euw1-${ENV}-storepick-sku-translation-001 lambda is verify the MIN in $ENV.xxwmm.storepick.sku.min.map DynamoDB and get the MIN and SKU Id pairs if MIN is available. If MIN is not found in $ENV.xxwmm.storepick.sku.min.map Dynamodb table then the lmb-euw1-${ENV}-storepick-sku-translation-001 lambda call the Ocado SKU ids Mapping API and get the SKU id for MIN. Then the SKU Translation lambda will update the MIN and SKU id pairs into $ENV.xxwmm.storepick.sku.min.map DynamoDB table.

  1. OSP/Ocado Site Sync Task

OSP/Ocado Site Sync Task is responsible for get data from Ocado Sites API and insert/update data into postgresql database. It is a scheduled job/task and it will run everyday 19:00 BST.

  1. Site Stock Level Range Listener

Sites Stock Levels range listener is responsible for get events from SQS based on the SQS events invoke RangeV1 API call to get status of MIN and INSERT/UPDATE the same into postgresql database. SQS-range event is subscribed to HFSS SNS : range events.

  1. Site Stock Level Range Listener Refresh Task

Sites Stock Levels range listener refresh task is manually triggered by support team member or tech team member. It’s responsibility is get RangeV1 API items and INSERT/UPDATE product active status into postgresql database.

  1. Site Stock Level StockV2 Sync Task

Sites Stock Levels StockV2 Sync task will be triggered two times in a day 02:00 BST and 10:30 BST by AWS EventBridge_Rules. It is responsible for get active sites from postgresql database and push sites SQS message. is get RangeV1 API items and INSERT/UPDATE product active status into postgresql database.

Site stock job lambda will be triggered as and when data is pushed to SQS. The lamda will create job in StockV2 service by calling API. Site stock job lambda will keep checking the job status in StockV2 service, Once job is done then stock data csv file will be processed to specific store and min and then the same will be pushed to SNS.

  1. Site Stock Level Adapter

Sites Stock Levels adapter lambda is triggered by SQS. The lambda will get data from database and do SKU mapping by calling skumapping api service. push the data to Ocado stock level API.
